1/2 c butter
1/2 c peanut butter
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 t vanilla
cream the above, then sift and add carefully:
1 1/4 c flour
3/4 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
shape into 1.5-2 inch balls, roll in granulated sugar, place onto cookie sheet, the use a fork or potato masher to lightly press a checkerboard/plaid dents and slightly flatten the balls.
bake 10-12 min.
